About The Event
For the last 20 years, Cuban American artist/playwright, Martin Matamoros, has been conveying his stories of growing up queer in Las Vegas and moving to The City of Angels – through the power of confessional monologues. Many of these pieces were originally workshopped at legendary performance space: Highways. In celebration of two decades of creative toil, Martin is curating a crème de la crème retrospective of these works, and bringing them back to Highways. Martin has enlisted some of his most talented artistic confidants to perform his tales. One story – Many voices. DIFFERENT SHOW EACH NIGHT!
