About The Event

DIS/PLACE features two days of short works on the theme of migration, crossings, and finding home, featuring Crossing Pride Collective's stories from LGBTQ migrants and refugees. As Trans and Queer people, we are too often displaced from our homes, our communities, our families, our religions, and sometimes even from ourselves. But together we have the power to displace the cis-tem of white cis-het patriarchy and other norms that oppress us!
