About The Event
Through a sweeping musical diary of prismatic ballads, anti-war protest anthems, and introspective love songs, BLIND CHAPERONE AWAKENS! explores the insanity of being a man in love in America in the modern day.
Writer/performer Tip Scarry (vocals/guitar) weaves vibrant songwriting together with sonnets, mischievous satire, and vulnerable storytelling. Adam Starkopf (drum/percussion) and Dylan Thomas (bass) energize the show with their soulful musicianship. Movement Director Jean-Louis Rodrigue brings his expert eye to the piece, filling it with nuance and animal perspective.
