RICK MITCHELL – Unplumbed
April 8, 2016 @ 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm PDT$15 – $20
Inspired by the androgynous, persistently transgressive Baroness Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven, as well as Marcel Duchamp, Unplumbed moves from progressive, pre-war, bohemian Greenwich Village to the oppressively chilling atmosphere that descended upon the U.S. with its entry into World War I. While theatrically engaging with bohemian New York both before and during the Great War, the play suggests strange, comic, and at times frightening parallels between back then and right now. Written and directed by Rick Mitchell. Featuring Elyse Ashton, Melanie Friedrich, Julian Goza, Anatoliy Ogay.
Friday + Saturday, April 8 + 9 @ 8.30pm
$20 general admission / $15 members, students, seniors
$10 CSUN students (with ID)
