MARK YAMOR & PAMELA HEFFLER – Train of Love: Life and Love On and Off the Rails

This dance theatre performance told through a series of interlocking but diverse stories, is an exploration of relationships: How they begin, how they end, how they endure and the awesome power of unconditional love. Created and performed by husband and wife team Mark Yamor and Pam Heffler (celebrating their 25th anniversary together).

Mark Yamor was born in raised in Crescent City CA. He began his professional dance career in 1984 at the Balboa Park summer arts festival in San Diego CA. While attending UCLA, Mark continued his professional career working with artists Margalit Oved, Rachel Rosenthal, Murray Lewis, Laurie Sefton, Heidi Duckler and Mary Jane Eisenberg. In New York he was a soloist with the New York Grand Opera Ballet performing In La Traviata, Rigoletto, and Macbeth, among others. He has also produced and created 3 shows, The Bridge of Smoke (NYC 1997), The Freedom Project (Dance Theater Workshop 1997), and most recently The Heretic with a Thousand Faces, which was performed at Highways in 2016. He continues to study classical ballet with Johnny Zhong and Nader Hamed at the Westside Ballet.
Pam Heffler is an actress, dancer, and singer who has had roles on NBC’s Heartbeat, The Shift (starring Danny Glover), NBC’s Love Bites, Discover ID’s Deadly Sins, the VR horror film Eye for an Eye, among others.She is a former member of the Open Fist Theater company performing in several leading roles. Pam started her career as a professional dancer performing as a member of the Sarah Elgart Dance company, as well as dancing in numerous films and music videos. In NYC, she danced with the New York Grand Opera and The Freedom Project, choreographed by Mark Yamor. She trained as a dancer with Claude Thompson and Hama. She currently studies ballet with Damian Diaz and is the creator of Dance Your Life workshops. An exploration of self and spirit through dance. More info on her can be found @ Pam Heffler
