THE HUBBARD COLLECTIVE / ViHu DANCE – FiftyFifty
July 13 @ 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm$15.00 - $20.00
Two new works by two exciting, emerging companies, The Hubbard Collective and ViHu Dance.
The Hubbard Collective’s “The Devil’s Friend” tells the story of Fernâo de Hutra, a man who becomes infatuated with a woman that he could never have. He would give anything to be with her; including signing over his life to darkness. Through the rhythmic beats of Barbatuques and the visual storytelling of the Hubbard Collective, this folktale adaptation will take you on a funky journey of enchantment.
ViHu Dance presents “Behind Closed Doors,” a collection of shorts works by choreographer Victor Hugo that give voice to that which is rarely spoken.
