DAVID MICHAEL TAYLOR – Cradle To Grave
August 22, 2015 @ 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm$15 - $20
CRADLE TO GRAVE is an American Gothic nightmare in one act, the story of a mysterious stranger searching for answers inside the old dark house of a dead plantation only to find that some questions are best left unanswered.
Jacob has survived mental and physical abuse, homelessness, plague and even war, but will he survive the night when he arrives uninvited at the bleak and barren home of the Widow Frost? Alternately harrowing and hysterical, CRADLE TO GRAVE is a comedy of horrors, reaping laughter from a family of frightening misfits and their secrets that have lay festering for decades beneath the ground of the family cemetery. Will this evening bring an end to the insanity or give birth to even more madness?

The LA Weekly gave his autobiographical solo show, MIXED PERSONALITY DISORDERS, a “GO!” and said “Taylor’s comedic timing and confessional style becomes seductively compelling, eventually drawing you in with his wry, ironic observations and sparks of mild sarcasm. He gets you laughing harder than you’d imagine at a guy who flirted with insanity.”
