Highways, 1651 18th St, Santa Monica, CA 90404, USA
An evening of new sounds + collisions. "Marathon: Muscles of Destiny" is a murderously dark comic opera—an irreverent remix of Greek myth with razor-sharp humor. Then "Sending // Receiving" arrives, a sonic system riffing on shipping and exchange, with three ensembles performing in chaotic harmony.
